Having hoped for some “down-time”, I instead received a pile more work. A totally insane week with far too little sleep. Training still ticking over, somewhat sponsored by red bull!! Competition in 3 weeks, so heavy squats, deadlift and bench all week. While it’s time to start easing off the cardio, it does alleviate work stress. I suspect stress hormones might be worse for powerlifting performance than physical fatigue from rowing!
